If you played piano you’d know that isn’t fake. This is a damn hard song to play and he’s hitting all the right notes.
Wow you r totallt awesome at this song it sounds like the real think i am only eleven and i can play super mario bros but still WOW
I agree with comment by theresa that this is one of the best piano songs ever played with such versatility with the fingers. Wonder whether I can put this video on my website ?
Err… hate to disagree with you all but I find the playing to be really forced, and the timing to be kinda sloppy.
I know it could just be his choice of style… but the constant slowing and speeding up kind of ruined it for me.
If I were to play this, I wouldn’t make it anywhere near as… LOUD all the time.
I agree with the people above. This is freaking awesome!
However, I do agree with Adam as well. The timing is a little off in some spots, the speed changes here and there, and it’s a little bit on the loud side.
But other than that, job well done!
I agree with the one who said forced, and sloppy. I play piano, i taught myself by playing by ear, and i hate to say, even though it is way better than me at this point, there were many spots where he was not only too fast or too slow, but flat, or sharp. Too much on the loud pedal, and definitely forced. But, i think it was pretty awesome that he knew the song.
The is no pedal on the piano called a loud pedal
If you played the original Legend of Zelda on the NES, you would know that during the gameplay, the music occasionally slows down.
Its funny how the change in tempo “ruins” the song for Adam. Its called musical interpretation. Notice how detailed the negative criticism is and how bland the positive comments are.
“oh his tempo was up and down and this and that”
“but he plays better than me, so whatever”.
Some people think they are the secret piano know it all and could make a way better video “if they could be bothered to get off their ass”. The rule should be, your comment means nothing unless you can put up a video like this yourself.
I personally enjoyed listening to a classic song being played quite well. Is it perfect? Does it need to be perfect?
this is the best piano song ive ever heard….. and all you people who are saying stuff about the tempo… if you’ve played zelda you would know that the tempo does change…he plays this song so flawlessly it makes me almost shit my pants every time i hear it… i mean it sounds EXACTLY like the game! even better!

Holy Crap!
